i wanna say thank you to everyone who came down today and made this class "gathering" a success. albeit a small number of 20 in total (of which 16 stayed for dinner), i enjoyed myself and hope u did too.

thanks to peng han for giving the morning call at 1 to wake me up and bowled without socks without complaints.

thanks to leyying and xiaoxia for coming because it's such a rarity that they do, and to them for bowling the last game.
thanks to crystal for turning up to spruce up the atmosphere (learn khang said she should really have came earlier because some element went missing without her presence... hmm i wonder what that means), and for introducing the polar bear game.
thanks to liling for coming early and played the super bishi bashi game with me in the arcade.
thanks to huiling who's such a nice person to talk with and for being so open.
thanks to shuhan for coming to say hi earlier and chatting with me during dinner about cats, rocks and toes.

thanks to tiger for turning up early even though he had just came back from malaysia; it must have been very tiring for him.
thanks to ting jie for coming so early (it was like she rushed over) despite ending her lessons only at 4.

ms khairani didn't turn up today because she's on MC for three days, hope she gets well soon! have already sms-ed her a summary of today's events.
for our next outing (where i hope we can use our $170), we are thinking of having it at huiling's condominium. in the day(maybe starting from 2) we could have activities like tennis and mahjong, and in the evening(from 5) it would be a bbq session (eugene i need a scout, you, to start the fire). hopefully we can set a date early and she can book it soon. it should be around christmas. then, each one of us going could bring a gift worth about $5 and there would be a gift exchange sort-of-thing going on. hopefully more people can turn up (i know the chinese scholars won't be able to) and this would be turn out a success.
the week 17(sun)to 23(sat) of december seems viable. so pls tag on the tagboard which days in that week u are free. i suppose that if u aren't free in the afternoon maybe u could come in the evening for the bbq (which is just like what many classmates did today)? thanks in advance!
